Note to the would-be pedant at Dallas-Fort Worth airport:
Some people would consider it gauche to misspell words on printed signs at airports.
Other people would consider it gauche to hand-write in corrections to the spelling.
I consider it gauche to cross out the word “separate” and correct it to “seperate”.
On the topic of signs, I did like the warning sign in a gift shop:
Unaccompanied children will be given an espresso and a puppy.

I recommend not getting to DFW 4 hours early for your flight with a flat iPod battery and a book you’re unexpectedly 4 pages from finishing. Trying to avoid traveling immediately before major anti-terror police action is advisable. Sleep deprivation and shacking up in Starbucks in front of the TV had me hallucinating that some people watch Fox for the news content.
