OK, this is just sad. I am compelled to post a comment, if for no other reason than to justify your turning on comments.

Colour coordination of the Google ads would be nice. Matching the comment headers would be pleasant — unless you intended a bit of subtle colour-clashing for highlighting purposes.

Google ads? Wut?
Comment by Julian on May 18, 2007
Aristotle,
This isn’t new! Back in January 2006, I added Google Adsense adverts to OddThinking.
But as I discussed at length at the time, they only start appearing about a week or two after the article goes live, so regular subscribers will rarely see them – hence Chris hadn’t noticed the poor colour matching before.
What is really sad is not, as John suggests, that no-one commented on this post for several weeks (In the article above, I was actually referring to comments on the whole blog, not just this post!)
What is sad is that I haven’t posted for so long, that the most recent article is already plastered with ads! It is sad that I am already due for another blog software upgrade and I haven’t posted any content since the previous one!
